Researchers at the University of California San Diego have developed a model and hypothesis to explain the origins of blepharospasm, a focal dystonia of the eyelid and brow muscles that cause involuntary blinking and eye closure.

Registration for the 2nd Annual Toronto Zoo Walk is now open.  The event will be taking place at the Toronto Zoo on Sunday, September 24, 2017.  Your registration will include all day entry to the zoo, plus an exclusive breakfast for the dystonia community, hosted in the Wildlife Marque (from 9:30  - 11:00 am).  We’ll have fun for the whole family including encounters with zoo animals, a touch table, fact painting, treats for the kids, and more!
