Edmonton Sun: Cam Tait, July 23, 2014 Local author is continuing to create her autobiography A Twisted Fate.
It's a personal account of Brenda's life with dystonia, a neuromuscular condition. Her next book signing is Sunday, Aug. 24 at Chapters on Whyte Avenue from noon to 5 p.m.
Brenda reported through Facebook that her work caught the eye of a blogger in Brazil who wrote about Brenda in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Closer to home, Brenda said the local dystonia group is planning to purchase some of her books and donate them to children's hospitals, such as the Stollery Children's Hospital.
"I have gotten many unbelievably kind words from people. I did not expect it to touch people the way it has," said Brenda.
