Earlier this year, members of the the DMRF Medical and Scientific Advisory Council (MSAC) representing key opinion leaders in movement disorders, neuroscience and related fields met in Texas to offer their guidance to the DMRF on future research directions and priorities. During the meeting, incoming Scientific Director, Joel S. Perlmutter, MD (Washington University, St. Louis) sat down with Scientific Director Emeritus, Mahlon Delong, MD (Emory University) to discuss progress accomplished during his tenure as Scientific Director and plans for the future.
