DMRF Canada Investing More Into Dystonia Research

November 2018: The DMRF Canada Board of Directors is pleased and proud to announce the launch of a new grant intended to fund research that could lead to better clinical treatments for dystonia patients. "DMRF Canada is committed to supporting the highest quality dystonia research in Canada," said Stefanie Ince, Executive Director.

This is the second research investment that has been announced this fall, following the launch of a two year Clinical Fellowship which was launched in October 2018.

DMRF Canada is committed to supporting Canadian researchers throughout all stages of their careers.  "Through this initiative, DMRF Canada is seeking grant applications from Canadian applicants committed to conducting research in areas relevant to treatments that will lead to better clinical outcomes, with a goal to improve the quality of life for dystonia patients." DMRF Canada is encouraging letters of intent from qualified research candidates.

Letters of Intent are due to DMRF Canada by Friday, December 21, 2018, with an announcement on funding to come in the spring of 2019. For complete details on this research funding opportunity, click here.
