Evaluation by a movement disorder neurologist can make a significant difference in terms of the treatment options available to dystonia patients and the corresponding benefit from treatment. As part of a commitment to nurturing the next generation of dystonia specialists, the DMRF Canada, in partnership with Allergan Canada, has provided a one-year $50,000 clinical fellowship to train a physician in the diagnosis and treatment of movement disorders with special competence in dystonia.
