Red Deer – Calgary – Lethbridge
The Dystonia Medical Research Foundation of Alberta (DMRFA) is an organization of individuals affected by dystonia with the goal to provide a platform for members and support persons to share experiences, find support, and access resources. The group also organizes activities, presentations, fundraising initiatives (including casino events), which play a vital role in advancing dystonia research and enhancing patient care.
To join, email albertasupport@dystoniacanada.org with your name and mailing address.

Every June, Canadians from coast-to-coast unite to raise awareness and critical funds for dystonia. To date, Freedom to Move has raised over $1 million to fund research, support programs, and advocacy efforts for people living with dystonia. We invite you to join us in a celebration of strength, community, and determination to make a positive impact for those living with dystonia.
