 Download Federal Disability Supports PDF

In this document, you will find information about the following:

  • Disability Tax Credit Certificate (DTC)
  • Disability and Income Tax
  • Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) Grants and Bonds
  • Employment Insurance, School and Educational Supports
  • Employment Programs
  • CPP Disability
  • Quebec Pension Plan Disability.

Information about these supports are elaborated upon in this document. Please note: the material and information contained in this document is for general information purposes only. You should not rely on the information in this document for making any business, legal, or any other decisions. Please report any inaccuracies in this document to info@dystoniacanada.org.

Note: You will need to further investigate the criteria. In some cases, such as the Disability Tax Credit, you will need to apply in order to qualify. Please note that tax credits are classified as ‘refundable’ or ‘non-refundable’. Non-refundable credits generally reduce your taxes owing. If a tax credit is identified as non-refundable, you will not get extra money back if you have more tax credits than taxes owing. We have included links in the attached PDF to help you learn about these requirements and how to apply. Be aware that programs and requirements can change. These benefits will also require support from your medical practitioner in order to qualify.

With thanks to our volunteer, Stephanie, for compiling these resources.
