Parents/Caregivers Studies

Caring for Children and Young Adults with Lifelong Care Needs

Are you a parent caring for a child or young adult with lifelong care needs? We want to hear from you! We are conducting research to better understand the experiences of parents like you, especially those caring for a child with medical complexity who is 14 years or older. By participating in up to four online surveys and an optional one-hour online conversation, your insights can help shape future health and social care practices. Participation is voluntary, and your responses will be kept confidential. To participate, email parentingstudy@mtroyal.ca.

COVID Time CapsuleParticipate in a Research Study!

CanChild Researchers are extending an invitation to Canadian parents of children between 8-21 who have a disability or extra healthcare needs to participate in a survey. We want to hear about your family’s experiences during COVID and your ideas about what services and supports families like yours need moving forward. We designed this survey based on stories that other youth and parents shared with us. We would like to hear from you! Parents will get a gift card as a thank you for their time.
